| Imperial Finance & Trading employees raise money for Breast Cancer |

Boca Raton, FL- The employees of Imperial Finance & Trading have been hard at work raising money in honor of breast cancer awareness month by joining forces with the Lee National Denim Day ® fund raiser. Lee National Denim Day® is a charitable campaign of the Entertainment Industry Foundation in collaboration with Lee Jeans. Virtually every employee personally donated $5 and pledged to wear jeans on October 30, 2009. All of the proceeds will go to the Women’s Cancer Programs of the Entertainment Industry Foundation. In an effort to raise as much as they could, Imperial employees held a company wide bake sale, teamed up with the local Boca Raton Hooters® Restaurant and had guest appearances with some of the Hooters® employees.
One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. That’s a startling statistic. But since 1996, Lee National Denim Day® has raised more than $75 million for the fight against breast cancer ... $5 at a time.
“All of Imperial’s employees have worked endlessly to raise the most amount of money they can toward breast cancer research,” said Imperial Senior Vice President Deborah Benaim. “We, as a company, are proud to participate and give to such a wonderful cause,” Benaim continued.
In total, Imperial employees raised approximately $3,500 to help find a cure for breast cancer.
